With the last big festival of the summer — Blues and Brews — and all the rain, snow and sun that came with it, behind us we’re currently enjoying a beautiful Indian summer. The fall colors are just starting to come into their prime and the weather has been spectacular. This is truly one of the best times of the year here in Telluride!
Sales reports for San Miguel County from Telluride Consulting show $23.5M in sales for August 2011, an increase in both dollar volume (75%) and number of sales (48%) over August 10. With over $22 million in September sales recorded in our Multiple Listing Service (MLS) through Sept. 26 we expect this month to be strong one as well.
While all real estate markets are local, this article from the Associated Press caught our eye as we are starting to see more high-dollar properties sell, particularly as the Mountain Village market reawakens.
